Such a sad day

sometime last night DPT gave birth to a very small undersized underdeveloped baby chinchilla. He died in my hands about 5:30 pm this afternoon. I knew him for less than 12 hours but have cried buckets. Yes- I am so hard and such a bitch - so hate me!
